The most glamourous team of ipl KKR with the back of King Khan are getting slightly off the track as they faced their second defeat of the tournament after going down to the aspring Mumbai Indians.

The game started in front of a jam packed crowd of over 80,000 KKR supporters it surely was an outrageous crowd. But capitan saurav ganguly couldn`t not get their team off to a good start as he and Superstar Brendon Mcullum got out in the first over. The debutant das provided some resilliance but couldn`t lasted for long enough. Then it was a very bad phase for the team as the wickets kept on tumbling.Ricky Ponting made struggling 19 and the only shine was shukla with 40 which to KKR to a score of 137/8 .

Things started fruitfully for KKR as they got the Mumbai Indians to a disasterous start of 25/3 in 4 overs in which young Ishant Sharma got the vital wicket of Jayasuria for 18 which uprooted his stumps. But after the initial burst the Mumbai Indians recovered well with the Bravery of Dwayne Bravo and great support of Robin Uthappa and managed a superb partnership of 113 runs to see their team home a few balls to spare bravo reched his 50 which was a first from a Mumbai Indians player in this tournament and relaxed the nerves of relliance and ambani after 4 successive defeats.

Sharukh Khan needs to get his guyz focused on cricket rather than the night lives and glamour of bollywood as they need to get their acts together quickly to stay amongst the top teams of the table.

Report from mohali confirms that amish sahiba the on-field umpire discussed about sreeshant in the media which he should have mentioned on his post match report.

“The umpires are not supposed to give their reports to the media, but there is a set procedure through which they can report to the match referee or IPL,” Bindra said.

“There is a prescribed proforma which umpires are supposed to fill and report in case they want to report on any incident. To my knowledge, the umpire in question has not submitted any report to the match referee or IPL co-ordinator,” Bindra said.

Saheba had reportedly told a Mumbai newspaper that “Sreesanth abused the Mumbai Indians (led by Harbhajan Singh) relentlessly throughout the game and was warned twice” by him and the “other umpire, Pakistan’s Aleem Dar.”

On the slapping incident, Bindra, who is also the ICC’s Principal Advisor, said, “It’s a bad episode. There are no two opinions about that, but we should move forward.

“This kind of behaviour is not acceptable. We have maintained that spirit of the game is equally important, if not more than the letter of the law,” Bindra said.

Bindra said Harbhajan, who was banned from the remaining matches of the IPL and lost 100 per cent of his match fees after being found guilty of slapping pacer Sreesanth, has been counseled on several occasions in the past.

“We have been counseling him in the past. I always counseled him in Australia recently (in the Andrew Symonds episode). When Sourav Ganguly was removed, he (Harbhajan) had given a statement. We remain in constant touch with him..,” Bindra said.

Asked if any action could be recommended against Sreesanth as well, Bindra shot back that there was no proof of the Kerala pacers guilt.

“It is a hypothetical situation. Till yesterday, nobody has reported anything and Harbhajan has already accepted his mistake.”
